Prosper: the Future of Expense Reporting

Much of Chrome River's core demographic involves traveling salespeople, who incur a lot of travel, meal, and lodging expenses in their day-to-day work. Prosper is a product that aims to bridge the gap between expense data and customer account data, providing sales managers with a visualized dashboard and map with which to make better informed sales decisions.

User Research

Prior to brainstorming the product, we talked to sales managers, both individually and in groups, to gain an idea of what type of information may be valuable to them and develop a sales manager persona. We spoke to both users, filtered through survey screeners, who had no concept of our product, as well as current Chrome River users who may be interested in a sales tool.

Brainstorming and Conceptualization

 
 In the initial brainstorming phases we conceptualized the idea of 2 views - map, and a detail information view. From these initial ideas, through months of iterating, we settled on the final division of Map vs Dashboard (by Team and Account) view
