Work Experience
  • Carvana
    Oct 2019 - Current • Team Lead, Product Design

    Currently leading AI explorations and building internal design tools that cut repetitive work out of our team’s process. Before that, I led design across twelve internal products spanning Carvana’s fulfillment pipeline - inventory, logistics, inspections, and workforce planning. On the consumer side, I redesigned the iOS checkout flow and reworked the native app’s browsing experience to feel like a mobile product instead of a ported website.

  • Appetize
    Aug 2018 - Oct 2019 • UX/UI Designer

    Built the design system for Appetize’s core Android point-of-sale product, consolidating patterns from multiple teams into a single component library. The hard part was the domain - point-of-sale spans quick service, table service, retail, and events, each with different operational workflows. Most of my time went to translating those messy real-world requirements into clear flows and high-fidelity prototypes for major features.

    Designed for functionality across Chrome River’s Expense, Invoice, and Tools platforms - enterprise products with deep configuration and compliance requirements.
